According to the india Today report, the victim complained to the Kukatpalli police station on november 25, 2024. The woman has said in her complaint that Shri Tej trapped her in a relationship, promised marriage, and exploited her financially for Rs 20 lakh. She claimed that while being in a relationship with her, he was in a relationship with another woman named Archana, who also has a seven-year-old son with her.
The victim also alleged that she first filed a complaint in april this year, but withdrew it after the actor's family assured them of taking appropriate action. She claimed that despite filing a complaint at the madhapur police station earlier, no action was taken. The police have now started an investigation to ascertain the allegations and get justice for the victim.

Based on the victim's complaint, the police have registered a case against the pushpa star under several sections including BNS 69, 115(2), and 318(2).
