During an interview on the YouTube channel We Are Yuva, ananya pandey revealed why she does not watch her father Chunky Pandey's films. The actress said, "I did not watch much because I was very scared that he (Chunky Pandey) was going to die in the film. I remember when I was young and I saw D Company and suddenly he got shot in the film and died in the film." Ananya further said, "I thought it was happening, even though he was sitting right next to me. I was in shock, so I did not watch a lot of his films because I thought he was going to die in all of them."

In the same interview, chunky pandey revealed that when he started his acting career, the characters in his films often had a tragic end. The actor jokingly recalled when he was told that if he did not die in the film, the producer would suffer a loss, so his death was necessary for the success of the film. When he first saw his character die during a dubbing session for 'Paap Ki Duniya', he admitted that he was quite upset. "It felt weird and a little sad to see myself die on screen because it's not something one gets used to easily," he said.
