In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Ayra Khan said that her parent's divorce did not have any special effect on her mental health. She said- 'They never fought in front of us and always put up a joint front for their children and kept them away from their conflict. Even amidst all the issues, they loved each other as a family.'
'The relationship ended in the right way...'
Ayra further said- 'I thought no, divorce cannot be something that is hurting me. I grew up and I realized that a relationship ended in the right way when something broke. Maybe it ended for the better, but still, some things ended in the right way. So, there is a right amount of pain that comes from the breakup of anything, which I refuse to see as a child.'
Even after the divorce, the children got equal love from Reena-Aamir
On the effect of aamir khan and reena Dutta's divorce on mental health, Ayra says- 'I have discussed this with my doctor and I have learned that there is no need to blame anyone, but it is important to accept what happened. My parents have done a great job in making us feel safe that even though they are separating, we will still be loved equally and the family will be loved equally.'
