First kollywood actor to get pilot License..!? Not Ajith..!?

Although many actors in the hollywood world have pilot licenses, only a few actors in india have pilot licenses. The actors and actresses who are dominating the cinema industry today have not reached such great heights only because of their incredible performances. It is an undeniable fact that they have achieved great things in many other things. ajith kumar is the best example of this. The reason is that although he is the biggest actor in the film industry, he is also a great automobile enthusiast. ajith kumar is one of the few actors in the indian film industry who has a pilot's license.
But in tamil cinema, an actor has already obtained a pilot's license before ajith Kumar. Not only that, but he is the first actor to fly from the tamil film industry to the hindi film industry. He is none other than actor Ranjan, who was once the greatest personality in tamil cinema. Although we don't know much about him, famous film producer and actor Chitra Lakshmanan has revealed some information. Ranjan, who made his debut in the tamil film "Ashok Kumar" in 1941 and acted in a few tamil films thereafter, received a huge response with the film Chandralekha, directed and produced by the famous director and producer S.S. Vasan, released in 1948. Although 75 years have passed since the release of this film, some of the achievements of the film remain unbroken even today. Ranjan was amazing by playing the villain in that famous film.
From 1949, he started acting in many hindi films as well. He last acted in the film "Captain Ranjan" released in 1969. Ranjan, who said goodbye to his film career very soon, passed away on september 12, 1983, while settling down with his family in the state of New Jersey, USA. Ranjan, who had come to the film world with his multifaceted talents in sword fighting, horse training, dancing, music, and singing even before the mgr era, was also an excellent painter. He was able to speak almost seven languages and had a pilot's license by the end of the 1960s. It is believed that he could be the first actor in the tamil film industry to have a pilot's license.
