Tollywood sources reported that there’s massive excitement surrounding the release of pushpa 2: The Rule, starring allu arjun, rashmika mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. While there’s only a few days remaining for the film to release, its advance booking opened yesterday in India. Much to fans’ delight, the film has taken a great start at the box office on day 1 of advance booking! As of sunday at 2 PM, the film’s advance booking gross stands at Rs 10.61 crore in India, with 3.5 lakh tickets sold as of now.
Hence according to Sacnilk, the advance booking numbers for pushpa 2 across all languages has already reached Rs 10.61 crore. The allu arjun starrer has sold a total of over 3.5 lakh tickets (all languages combined) in India. These numbers are exclusive of block seats. If block seats are also added, the all-India numbers go up to Rs 16.28 crore! Interestingly, the advance collection on Day 1 from hindi 2D ticket booking is greater than telugu 2D tickets. While hindi 2D tickets advance collection stands at Rs Rs 4.6 crore, the telugu 2D collection is Rs 3.78 crore.
Moreover the fast-selling tickets, even days before the release of pushpa 2: The Rule only goes on to show the massive excitement for this sequel, and its pan-India appeal! The film is set to bring back allu arjun in his iconic role as pushpa Raj, with rashmika mandanna returning as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil reprising his role as the formidable cop Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, Pushpa’s sworn nemesis. It is set to release in theatres on december 5, 2024.
