The story of the film 'Bougainvillea' revolves around a happily married couple whose life falls apart after an accident, which leaves Reethu with amnesia. The couple then struggles to rebuild their lives. While investigating the mysterious disappearance of tourists in Kerala, ACP Koshy arrives at their house, as Reethu becomes his prime suspect and the story takes a new turn.
The cast of the film includes Jyotirmoyee in the role of 'Reethu', Fahadh Faasil in the role of 'ACP David Kosh', and Kunchacko Boban in the role of 'Dr. Royce Thomas'.
