Popular south indian starlet rashmika mandanna, riding high on the massive success of pushpa 2: The Rule, is currently working on Sikandar alongside salman Khan. In an interview with india Today, the actress reflected on her experience of working with the bollywood superstar and revealed how he took care of her during a tough time on set. “He’s such a special person and so down-to-earth and grounded," rashmika mandanna said, recalling a moment when she fell ill during filming. “I was not well on set when we were shooting. The moment he found out about it, he asked me if I was okay and told the crew to get me healthy food, warm water, and everything."
Meanwhile speaking further, she added, “He really takes care of you and makes you feel special. I mean, he’s one of the biggest stars in the country, but he’s so humble and down-to-earth." Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is slated for release on Eid 2025. Reports suggest rashmika and salman recently filmed a festive dance number for the movie, with two additional songs set to be shot in europe by year’s end. The first look poster is rumored to drop on salman Khan’s birthday, december 27.
Moreover rashmika, who charmed audiences as Srivalli in pushpa 2: The Rule, continues to enjoy the film’s phenomenal box office performance, which surpassed Rs 1000 crore globally in its first week. Besides Sikandar, rashmika has several exciting projects in the pipeline. She recently unveiled the teaser of The Girlfriend and is gearing up for the release of Chhava, co-starring Vicky Kaushal, on february 14, 2025. rashmika has also commenced work on Thama, her next bollywood venture with Ayushmann Khurrana.
