While talking to Screen, vivek oberoi shared his experience from the set of Saathiya. He said- 'Saathiya was a small budget film and only rani got a makeup van. I had to change clothes in the restaurant bathroom and hotel washroom. I did touch-ups on the streets. No one knew who I was. I used to keep the tripod on my shoulder and walk with the rest of the crew.'
Meanwhile vivek further said- 'For Saathiya, I have shot continuously for 22-23 hours. I used to keep a newspaper on the bench and take a nap so that I look fresh.' During this, the actor also mentioned an incident that happened on the set. He told- '12 april 2002, Company was released and on that sunday we were shooting near the railway channel of Gaiety Galaxy. This is the scene where I am chasing Rani. We started shooting, it was a normal day. By then rani had become a star. So she had a security guard.'
Moreover the actor said 'Around 11-12 o'clock suddenly people started shouting chandu Bhai and I became very happy. About 2000 people gathered there from those 4-5 people and the entire security system was ruined. I was getting nervous because a day was getting wasted. Shaad wanted to get me out of there, so he pushed me into Rani's makeup van and I was looking out of the window. They were shouting dialogues. Finally, they had to call the police and they told me to get out of there.'
