The complaint, filed at ernakulam Central police station on january 7, claimed that the businessman had repeatedly made objectionable comments against the actress.
Confirming the allegations, Honey Rose in a social media post talked about taking legal action against Chemmanur and his associates and said, "Complaints will soon be filed against your associates who have the same mental state as you. You may trust the power of your money, but I trust the power of India's judicial system."
The actress shared her experience on january 5 and spoke about the businessman who was constantly making double-meaning comments and following her at events. The actress said that though she usually ignores such complaints, the insult in this case necessitated a response. Honey Rose said that this person would go to functions where she was invited and make derogatory comments about her in public.
Several derogatory comments were made on the social media post, which led honey rose to lodge a police complaint. The ernakulam Central police have already registered a case against 30 people who made objectionable comments on the actor's social media posts. A man named Shaji from Kumbalam was arrested on january 6 in connection with the case. Screenshots of the derogatory comments have been produced as evidence.
