The second trailer of actress-MP kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' has been released on Monday. Releasing the trailer, kangana said that the story of 'Emergency' is not just about a controversial leader but it is based on topics which are still relevant today.

How is the trailer?

The new trailer shows even more intensity and political power than the first trailer. The trailer shows the turbulent days of 1975 and former prime minister Indira Gandhi's declaration, "Indira is India".

This story is not just about a controversial leader, it is based on topics that are relevant even today. This makes this journey both difficult and important. kangana further said, "This film, which is releasing just a week before Republic Day, is the right time to reflect on the strength of our Constitution and watch the film with your loved ones."

Producer Umesh KR Bansal said, "The Emergency of 1975 is about to complete 50 years. In such a situation, this film is not only a historical retelling but it is also a reflection on the strength of democracy. It is a tribute to those who fought for it. Emergency is a cinematic milestone that challenges the audience to question, connect and remember the price of freedom." kangana ranaut herself is the lead actor along with being the producer-director of 'Emergency', which is set to release in theaters on january 17. Apart from kangana ranaut, 'Emergency' also stars Anupam Kher, mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair as well as late Satish Kaushik. Zee Studio, manikarnika films and renu Pitti have produced the film. Sanchit Balhara and G.V. Prakash Kumar have composed the music of the film.
