Actress parvathy thiruvothu was one of the guests at the wayanad Literature Festival, in a conversation with writer Arundhati Roy, she said that today's young malayalam actors are worse than the older generation. She said that films are still being made for stars that glorify men who fight and commit violence.
When Parvathy was asked if she supported women in the current generation. She said that the way people behave in today's time is a bit disturbing. Earlier people were troubled by some other things, the problems of today's people are different. She said that some people can see what is happening around them. Some people in the industry are disappointed because they are not getting the benefits that the older generation is getting.
Parvathy Thiruvothu is known for her outspoken nature. She said that there have been a lot of changes in the malayalam industry. Big-budget films have started being made here, but still, the same issues are being shown in the films. She said, earlier I used to worry that I would have to work with these people again. But now such thoughts do not bother me.
Parvathy said that she got the name Bathroom Parvathy in the industry because she talked about proper toilet arrangements for women on the set. Earlier, Parvathy was seen in the malayalam film Her, directed by Lijin Jose.
