A crucial piece of evidence, a Hexa blade fragment that had lodged in Saif’s body during the attack, was removed during surgery and seized by the mumbai Police. The weapon is now part of the ongoing investigation. The incident took place around 2:15 am when a burglar broke into the Khan family’s upscale Bandra home. Alongside Khan, a 56-year-old staff nurse named Eliyama Philip—who later filed a police complaint—and a domestic help also sustained injuries from the attacker’s blade.
