Vicky Kaushal fans have a reason to cheer as makers dropped the much-anticipated 'Chhaava' trailer on Wednesday. Alongside Vicky, rashmika mandanna and akshaye khanna are also part of the film directed by Laxman Utekar. The trailer of 'Chhaava' shows Vicky as the fearless maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who took the throne after the death of Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the maratha empire.

Giving a glimpse of the film, the 'Chhaava' trailer shows Vicky waging a war against the Mughal emperor aurangzeb, who was trying to seize Deccan after the death of Shivaji. A period actioner, the 'Chhava' trailer also shows akshaye khanna as Aurangzeb who pledges to kill Samghaji under any circumstances.

Rashmika Mandanna plays Sambhaji’s wife, Maharani Yesubai.
Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was the second maratha emperor and the oldest son of Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj.
It is a well-known fact that Sambhaji allowed Aurangzeb's son to live under his protection. He even saved the son from the wrath of the Mughal emperor. Sambhaji protected the maratha region with his life from the Mughals and his war tactics were sharp enough to bat the Mughals on several occasions.
'Chhavaa' is slated to be released in theatres on february 14, 2025.
