Saif ali Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on january 21, 2025, after being brutally attacked with a knife by an intruder in his Bandra home. The actor suffered six stab wounds while trying to protect his family during a robbery attempt. During a media interaction, one of the doctors revealed that Saif arrived at the hospital in an auto-rickshaw, accompanied by his 8-year-old son, Taimur ali Khan.

In an interview with india Today, Taimur's former nanny, Lalita D'Silva, praised his resilient mindset and shared her thoughts on whether there were any security lapses during her time working with the family.

Both of them were alone. It shocked me that little Taimur took his father to hospital. At his age, the child's mindset is so strong, that's unimaginable," she said. Lalita confirmed that there were cameras in Taimur’s room while she worked with the family. She also shared her thoughts on how the intruder might have entered the house.
"I have no idea about where he came from and how he entered. It is a surprise. How will anybody know that he is entering, or that he's going to do such things? Many officers are coming and going to work. You've seen the building outside. I don't know how he could have entered. It's a big surprise to everyone," she said.

Taimur also has a strong personality, he will be strong like his Abba. His parents are very strong-minded. Kareena Madam is also a very strong-headed lady; she is so disciplined, and she is so strong."
Saif ali Khan was discharged from the hospital yesterday, sporting a cast on his hand and a bandage on his neck. Despite his injuries, he smiled and waved at the paparazzi waiting outside.
