Deva: shahid Kapoor's 'Deva' is more interesting than necessary, know 7 important reasons to watch the film here
Deva: If you have not seen shahid Kapoor's Deva, then assume that you have missed something big at the beginning of the year. If the question 'why' has arisen in your mind, then read the reasons here.
7 Reasons To watch Deva
Shahid Kapoor's deva has been released on 31st January. The trailer of the film had created a 'mess'. The audience is going to see that chaos in the cinema halls as well. This is such a chaos which has not been seen in any film for a long time. Now the opportunity has come in the new year, Bollywood has a brand new film, which is inspired by a 12-year-old South film but is not old at all.
Why should you watch this film of shahid Kapoor, understand here in 5 points. This will not waste much of your time and your mindset will also become positive before watching the film, which will increase the excitement for Shahid's cop avatar.
Why watch Deva? Here are 7 reasons
1- The film is not what you thought
Yes, after the trailer came, the audience thought that the film would be a story of fighting, action, and a bad but good cop, who will break the hands and legs of goons with attitude. The film has all this. You did not find anything wrong, but in reality, your assessment definitely fell a little short after watching the trailer.
The film takes the audience even further than this. The film does not have only action, it also has suspense. And that suspense is amazing. If you watch it, sometimes you will remember Race of 2008, and sometimes Sherlock Holmes.
The trailer could not include all the things that are in the film. This can also be considered the mistake of the makers. Something similar happened with Shah Rukh Khan's Baadshah released in 1999 and Ritesh Deshmukh's Bank Chor released in 2017. Both these films were presented as mere comedy films, but when the films came on the big screen, their quality was much better.
The disadvantage of these films was that the audience considered them mere comedy films and they could not do anything special at the box office. Hopefully, this will not happen with Deva.
2- Thriller, action, and suspense all together
Once in films, this formula was considered a hit that there should be comedy, emotion, and action in the film. Something similar is with this film as well. It has suspense like Govinda's Ladla, thrills like john Abraham's Force, and action like R Rajkumar-Rowdy Rathore all together.
3- Impact of malayalam films (very positive part of the film)
Awareness about malayalam films has spread among hindi audiences for the last few years. Now when the hindi audience talks about South films, they know that malayalam films have to be kept at the top of that discussion in terms of content. deva presents excellent content like malayalam films. The film is made by malayalam director roshan Andrews and it is inspired by his own film 'Mumbai Police'.
4- Direction
Roshan Andrews knew which direction to take the film. The intro part of the film gives a glimpse of ram Gopal Varma's 90s films. If you have seen ram Gopal Varma's 'Achhe Din' films, then you will get engaged just by watching the introduction part. The film does not just tell a straight story, research is also visible in it.
This research part has been shown in a very excellent way. roshan Andrews knew what to show and how to show it. He is most successful in that part of the film when the audience jumps as soon as the suspense is revealed.
Roshan has kept many important characters in the film, which become important despite not being an important part of the story. By casting such roles with good actors like Parvesh Rana and Girish Kulkarni, he has made the film even more engaging.
5- Research
There is a dialogue in the film - 'Blue car in yellow light looks green', there are two more scenes in the film which appear connected after about an hour. The thinking of the lead role is visible in it - in the first scene Shahid calls Kubra Sait's character a liability and in the second scene he asks her to join the police operation. We cannot tell you anything about these scenes right now because the entire suspense will be spoiled. This is just a hint, after reading it you will be able to understand the meaning of those scenes.
6- Background music is not ear-splitting like pushpa 2 or Devara, but still thrilling
The strongest part of the film is BGM. Which is there in this film, but it is not like the recently released South films Salaar, KGF, or pushpa 2. It sounds good to the ears and is thrilling too.
7- Acting
Shahid Kapoor is a very strong part of the film. His choice of films is not in the race of any contemporary actors, rather he is different. If he was not different, then films like Haider, Kaminey, and kabir singh would not have come his way. The anger inside him is seen bursting out in the entire film.
Despite being angry, shahid has not become loud in even a single scene. The way he takes out the anger inside the lead character while doing action shows that he has gone ahead of Jab We Met and Haider.
