During rehearsals, his assistant taught us the steps, but when he saw me perform, he decided to keep only Khushi's dance and canceled my part. He asked me to perform in front of him. He looked at me and said, 'Tujhse nahi hoga, tu chalke aa. Khushi se dance hoga, tu baith ke dekhen isko.'
Junaid Khan admitted that even though he loves dancing, he is not particularly good at it. He also revealed that he practiced for several days for the Garba sequence in his debut film Maharaj, but only wide shots of him were kept so that the attention would not go to his dance.
He further said, 'I had to do Garba in Maharaj. I practiced for 10 weeks, practiced for four hours every day. If you see me in the film, you will find that I am very thin.
