Mamta Kulkarni: mamta Kulkarni left the post of Mahamandaleshwar in Kinnar Akhara, said- 'I am a Sadhvi since childhood'

Mamta Kulkarni: Former bollywood actress mamta Kulkarni has resigned from the post of Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara. She said, 'I am a Sadhvi since childhood and will remain so'.

Former bollywood actress mamta Kulkarni was recently made the Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara. She went to the ongoing maha Kumbh in Prayagraj and performed her Pind Daan. She was given this post after her Pattabhishek process. But, ever since mamta was appointed Mahamandaleshwar, questions were being raised on her appointment. Today on Monday, mamta Kulkarni has resigned from the post of Mahamandaleshwar.

In a conversation with news agency ANI, mamta has talked about leaving the post. She said, 'I am Mahamandaleshwar Yamai mamta Nandgiri, I am resigning from this post. There are a lot of problems in the Kinnar Akhara or two Akharas regarding my position as Mahamandaleshwar. I was a Sadhvi for the last 25 years and will remain a Sadhvi. This honour of Mahamandaleshwar which was given to me is such that a person who has done swimming for about 25 years is asked to teach swimming to the children who come now. But, many people objected to this.

Mamta Kulkarni further says, 'I have been away from bollywood for a long time. I have left the film world for 25 years. Otherwise, who stays so far away from films and makeup? people have questions and reactions about many things about me. I have seen that many people, including Shankaracharya, have objections to my being Mahamandaleshwar.'

Mamta further said, 'My guru, under whose guidance I have done severe penance, his name is chaitanya Gagangiri Maharaj. He was a great saint. I don't see anyone equal to him. I have topped him for 25 years. I don't need to go anywhere like Kailash or Mansarovar. All the universe is in front of me. I have done severe penance for 25 years. But today everyone has objected. Whether it is Himangi or anyone else, I will not say much about them. I will just say that I have not done anything. This is all Chandi, whom I have worshipped intensely. Now it is she who is giving me the signal that I should get out of this.
