Ford said about his character that this is a character that is based on the work of a brilliant actor. He said, "As far as I am concerned, this is a bonus for me." ford further said, "Under the rules of the Marvel Universe, it is okay for one actor to replace another actor in some way. I was happy to get this opportunity. I always wanted to do a Marvel movie. I wanted to be a part of the joy of these entertainments."
In 'The Incredible Hulk', Hurt plays Bruce Banner's enemy General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, who is also the father of Bruce's scientist girlfriend Betty Ross (Liv Tyler).
Harrison ford will be seen playing the red Hulk in 'Brave New World'.
