Demand for ban on 'India's Got Latent', CTI wrote a letter!

The controversy over down-and-out comedian Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent' is increasing. The Chamber of Trade and industry (CTI) has demanded a ban on the show and legal action. CTI wrote a letter to Union Information and Broadcasting, Electronics and Information technology Minister ashwini Vaishnav saying that the show is against indian culture and social values. CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal and President Subhash Khandelwal said that the show promotes obscenity and vulgarity. In this, objectionable comments were made on parents, which is creating a wrong trend in the society. CTI General Secretary vishnu Bhargava and Gurmeet Arora said that if there is a show of 'India's Got Latent' in Delhi, they will strongly oppose it. They say that dirty things will not be tolerated in the name of comedy.

CTI said that the social media accounts of Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia should be blocked. The organization alleges that these people are spreading filth in the society to earn cheap popularity and money.

YouTube removed controversial episode

After CTI's complaint and government intervention, YouTube has removed the controversial episode of 'India's Got Latent'. Samay Raina was hosting the show, while Ranveer Allahbadia, ashish Chanchlani, jaspreet singh and apoorva Makhija were judges.
