Cyber cell strict in the case of black marketing of Coldplay concert tickets…

Maharashtra Cyber Cell Chief yashasvi Yadav said that during big events, it was seen that many people are buying tickets on a large scale and selling them at many times the price through other platforms, social media. yashasvi Yadav said that we investigated this matter, after which the officials of two big ticketing sites 'Book My Show' and 'Zomato' were called and given necessary instructions. He said that the officials of both the sites have been told that in such major events where the demand for tickets is many times more than the supply, the tickets should be sold in the name of the buyer, so that black marketing does not happen. Also, the person who reaches the venue of the event with that ticket will have to show his ID card (Aadhar card, PAN card or driving license) issued by the government of India. Entry into the event is given only if the name written on the ticket and the name in the ID card match.

Cyber cell will issue white paper

Yashasvi Yadav further said that maharashtra Cyber is also going to issue a white paper in this matter, which has been prepared by taking inputs from operators of all ticketing platforms. This white paper will be in legal form, in which it will be written what technical changes are required for selling tickets and on the ticketing platform.
