'The Brutalist' is now going to be released in India. After its spectacular win at the Golden Globe Awards, Universal Pictures is now releasing the film in India this month produced by Warner Bros Discovery. The film will be released in indian theaters on february 28, 2025.
Directed by Brady Corbet, the film stars many great actors like Adrian Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Rafe Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Isaach de Bankole, and Alessandro Nivola. The story follows Laszlo Toth (Adrien Brody), a visionary architect who escapes post-war europe and comes to America to rebuild his life, his work, and his marriage with his wife Erzbet (Felicity Jones).
After settling in Pennsylvania, Laszlo's talent catches the eye of Harrison Lee Van Buren, a wealthy and influential industrialist. The film recently won the Critics' Choice Awards for Best Motion Picture-Drama, Best director, and Best Actor in a Motion Picture-Drama. The film received a largely positive response after its premiere at the Venice international Film Festival, with Adrien Brody's performance being praised as the best performance of his career. Brady Corbet was also awarded the prestigious silver Lion for Best director at the film festival.
