He recalled how he was called up at 6 am to inform about the entire incident, and how weird it was for him to tell his wife Soha Ali Khan while he was getting his daughter ready for school.

Speaking, Kunal said, "You know, honestly, the first thing was is he (Saif ali Khan) okay? And once we got to know that he is okay and he is out of danger, then any chatter did not make any sense because that was the only thing that mattered." Stating that Saif has spoken about the attack and answered every question, Kunal said, "I think the whole comment on it is that Saif has just given in an interview recently. I think he has put it in the best way, I don't even want to add words to it because I think everything has been accounted for and answered when it comes to it."
How did Kunal come to know about the attack on Saif
The Kalyug actor also revealed how he came to know about the incident. He said, "I woke up to a call at around 6 am, and there was no information, they said you know, this incident has happened and he is in the hospital, and he is about to undergo surgery, and he has been stabbed."
Kunal further said, "It's very strange how fear works, I had to tell this to her (Soha ali Khan). We were getting our daughter ready for school and you had only this information and nothing else. So how to understand this, should I send my daughter to school right now or not? Then I said we need to go there, and that's when we slowly started to find out what had happened.''
The whole family was praying for Saif's well-being
Kunal said that the whole family was worried about Saif's health and was praying for his well-being. He said, "After that, everyone's biggest prayer was, we hope he gets well. And once it happened, we were satisfied with it."
