With no indications of slowing down at the box office, 'Chhaavais rapidly becoming Vicky Kaushal's career-defining moment. In less than a week, the Laxman Utekar-directed historical drama has surpassed Rs 242 crore, putting it in a strong position to overtake Uri: The Surgical strike as Kaushal's highest-grossing movie to date.



Even more impressive than Chhaava's success is the consistency with which it has performed during its second week. The film's popularity and great word-of-mouth were highlighted by its Rs 23 crore earnings on Day 8, which is an amount that most films can only dream of on opening day. 


With only Rs 2 crore needed to surpass Uri's opening week total of Rs 219.25 crore, ‘Chhaava’ is well on its way to quickly surpass that milestone.


Chhaava', which was made on a budget of Rs 130 crore, has become an incredibly popular film, solidifying Vicky Kaushal’s status as a prominent bollywood actor. Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (Vicky Kaushal), Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale (Rashmika Mandanna), and aurangzeb (Akshaye Khanna) are the main characters in this film.


Vicky Kaushal Reflects on His Preparation for 'Chhaava' Role

Vicky Kaushal recently discussed the rigorous training he had to endure for his part in 'Chhaava', saying that he trained for six to eight hours every day. " "On each day there was about 6-8 hours of training work,” he said.


He added, “The kind of discipline that has come into my life has never been there before.” Chhaava is defining new benchmarks for bollywood in 2025 with its phenomenal box office success, which is winning over moviegoers as well.


Chhaava Becomes Tax-free

On february 19, the chief ministers of madhya pradesh (Mohan Yadav) and goa (Dr. Pramod Sawant) announced on the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj. They announced that Vicky Kaushal's historical drama 'Chhaava,which is based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, will be tax-free in their respective states.
