In this advanced era of technology, the trend of AI has increased. From getting the answer to a question to making a fake video of someone, AI is playing a big role. Even the trend of AI has increased in the music industry. Music composer Mahesh Raghavan, classical vocalist Nirali karthik, and sitarist Mehtab Niazi participated in the fourth edition of ABP's Ideas of india Summit. During this, they talked about the role of AI in music.

AI cannot replace human emotions

Nowadays musicians are composing music through AI. Due to AI, it has also become possible to convert any song into anyone's voice. Do you think that the use of AI in sitar can make it better? On this question, sitarist Mehtab Niazi said - 'I have not used AI in sitar till now. But I think that AI cannot replace the emotions of a human being.'

Mehtab further said, 'When you see examples of songs nowadays which are being sung in the voice of late Rafi Saheb, then somewhere those expressions and emotions are reflected in it.'

What did Mahesh Raghavan say about AI

Music composer Mahesh Raghavan also gave his opinion about AI. He said- 'I use AI as a tool, it cannot replace me. After all, AI learns from data, it cannot create anything on its own and whatever it creates is based on someone's idea and it is a human idea, right?'

'AI has all the data of all the great songs'

Nirali karthik supported AI and said- 'When we talk about technology, it is very broad term for music. According to me, the one thing that is going to completely shift how we experience and listen to music is AI. Because if I record something in my voice, then AI can completely change it to H Sharan's voiceLata ji's voice, as you must have seen in many viral videos. You must have heard many such songs and you will not be able to find out whether it is AI or a real voice. AI has all the data of all the great songs.'

On the question of whether AI is a bad thing, Nirali said- 'It is not a bad thing because when the internet came, it was felt that it would destroy us. So I consider AI a great tool and no matter what it is doing, it cannot bring the soul because the work of the soul is mine.'
