
Game Changer: 'Game Changer' makers accused of not paying dues to extras, FIR lodged
The makers of 'Game Changer' have alleged that over 350 extras from guntur and Vijayawada are still to be paid Rs 1200.
Ram Charan and kiara Advani's political thriller Game Changer has landed in controversy, as a group of background actors have filed a police complaint over alleged non-payment of wages. According to reports, several extras who worked on the film have alleged that they were not paid for their time and efforts during the shoot. The report suggests that 350 background actors are still to receive payments of Rs 1200 as of the end of February.
A police complaint was filed against the production unit responsible for managing the payments of the extras after the non-payment. director Shankar and producer Dil Raju have been urged to intervene and ensure that their dues are paid.
The cast reportedly filed a complaint at the guntur police station, alleging that the Game Changer team did not pay them as promised. According to an artist named Tarun, 350 extras from guntur and vijayawada came to hyderabad to shoot the film after co-director Swarga Siva assured them of paying Rs 1200. However, they claim that they are yet to receive their dues. The extras have demanded that director Shankar and producer Dil Raju resolve the issue, and have also sought action against Siva, accusing him of fraud.
