IGL Case: Ranbir Allahbadia gets 'Supreme' relief, permission to air the show, court's advice - take care of decorum

A hearing is going on in the Supreme Court in the Ranveer Allahbadia case. During the hearing, the Solicitor General said that he had seen the entire show but there was no obscenity in it but there is perversion in it. He said that humor is one thing, obscenity is one thing. And perversion is at another level.

Earlier, the supreme court had banned 'The Ranveer Show' from publishing any content till further orders. Ranveer Allahabadia had approached the supreme court against this. He had applied to the court to give him some relief. He had said that 280 employees work for him. This is a matter related to his livelihood.


On Ranveer Allahabadia's petition to broadcast the show, SG Mehta told the supreme court to let him remain silent for some time. However, the supreme court allowed podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia to resume broadcasting 'The Ranveer Show' on the condition that he maintains decency in his show.
