Karan Johar: The high court took action against the film made in the name of karan johar, this is why the release was banned
Karan Johar: The bombay high court on saturday banned the release of the film 'Shaadi Ke director karan Aur Johar'. Karan Johar had gone to the high court to stop the release of this film.
The film named 'Shaadi Ke director karan Aur Johar' was going to be released soon, but on Friday the bombay high court banned the release of this film. The court says that the title and content of the film violate the privacy and rights of famous filmmaker karan Johar. It also spoils his brand value. This decision of the court came when karan johar knocked on the door of bombay high court regarding this matter. He demanded from the court that the release of the film be banned.
A single-member bench of the high court stayed the release of the film, saying that its title will directly connect people to Johar. In june 2024, karan johar sought a stay on the release of this film. He had told the court that unless his permission is taken for the use of personal things like his name and profession, it would be considered a violation of such rights.
Karan Johar had said that the makers of 'Shaadi Ke director karan Aur Johar' had not taken any action on his notice sent in June. I have no connection with the film. The filmmakers wanted to use my name to give it a name that would connect the audience with them. The dialogue and screenplay of the film insult us. This film will come under the adult category.'
Recently Karan Johar has lost weight. His look has changed a lot. Many people are giving their opinion about him according to their own. But karan johar has not commented on anything. Recently Karan Johar has sold a 50 percent stake of his company Dharma Productions. Adar Poonawala has bought them.
