Actor Abhay Deol's film 'Road, Movie', which came in 2009, has completed its 15 years of release. Now the film has been released again in theaters. Further giving information about the re-release of the film, the actor wrote, "The film 'Road, Movie' is running in theaters once again today. If you want to see something that challenges mainstream narrative today the way it did 15 years ago, go and watch it in theatres before it is removed.”
Directed by Dev Benegal, the film ‘Road, the movie’ premiered at the Toronto international Film festival in 2009 and was later screened in the Generation 14 Plus section of the 60th Berlin international Film festival in february 2010. Apart from abhay deol, the film also stars tannishtha chatterjee and Satish kaushik in important roles. The story of the film was about the journey of a young man named vishnu in the mythological indian perspective which becomes a life-changing journey.
Abhay Deol will now be seen in the film ‘Bun Tikki’. Directed by Faraz Arif Ansari, the film also stars Zeenat Aman, Shabana Azmi, and Nusrat Bharucha. The film recently had its global premiere at the 36th Palm Springs international Film festival in California.
