Ranya Rao: Ranya Rao was allotted 12 acres of land for a steel plant, 'KIADB' revealed


Ranya Rao: kannada actress Ranya Rao was allotted 12 acres of industrial land by KIADB in the year 2023 to set up a steel plant. Now 'KIADB' has given its response on this matter. Recently Kannada actress Ranya Rao has been arrested for smuggling gold from Dubai. Now new information is coming out in this case. The karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) has said that Ranya was allotted land in february 2023 by the previous bjp government to set up a steel plant. The board has reacted to reports that a company linked to the actress was allotted 12 acres of industrial land by KIADB in 2023.


The office of minister of Medium and Large industries MB Patil shared the government's final notification issued on february 22, 2023, regarding the allotment of land to Ranya's firm Kshirodha india at Sira Industrial Area in Tumakuru district. In a press release issued by the office, KIADB said that the allotment to the company linked to Rao was made in january 2023. KIADB CEO Mahesh on sunday said that Kshirodha india was allotted 12 acres of land on january 2, 2023, by the previous government.

According to the KIADB press release, the company had submitted a proposal to set up a steel plant for steel TMT bars, rods, and allied products with an investment of Rs 138 crore. The project was expected to generate around 160 jobs.


The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence had on Wednesday said that gold rods worth Rs 12.56 crore were seized from Ranya at the Kempegowda international Airport. Subsequently, searches were conducted at her house and gold jewellery worth Rs 2.06 crore and indian currency worth Rs 2.67 crore were also seized. Ranya is the stepdaughter of senior IPS officer Ramachandra Rao. The DGP rank officer is currently serving as the Chairman and Managing director of karnataka State police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. A total of Rs 17.29 crore has been seized in the entire case, which includes assets worth Rs 4.73 crore.
