The nominees for Best Male Playback singer included Mitraj, karan Aujla, diljit dosanjh and Arijit Singh. jubin nautiyal won this award for the song 'Dua' from 'Article 370'. Along with this post, sonu nigam also shared the song 'Mere Dholna 3.0' from his film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', for which he was expecting a nomination.
