Regarding this, the singer has now made a cryptic post and has blamed the rajasthan government for this. sonu nigam believes that due to the pressure of Rajasthan's bureaucracy, he was not nominated for Best Male Playback singer in the award function held in Jaipur. He has shared a post on instagram in which he has put a screenshot of the list of Best Male Playback singer nominations of the award function.

'Rajasthan bureaucracy had to give an answer too'

The nominees for Best Male Playback singer included Mitraj, karan Aujla, diljit dosanjh and Arijit Singh. jubin nautiyal won this award for the song 'Dua' from 'Article 370'. Along with this post, sonu nigam also shared the song 'Mere Dholna 3.0' from his film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', for which he was expecting a nomination. Along with the post, sonu nigam wrote in the caption - 'Thank you IIFA, after all you had to answer the rajasthan bureaucracy.'
