NASA astronauts sunita williams and Butch Wilmore have started a 45-day rehabilitation software to assist them in adapting to Earth's gravity after spending 9 months in space. The duo again early on wednesday (Indian time) aboard SpaceX's group-nine undertaking, splashing down off the coast of Florida.
Williams and Wilmore's extended stay in space became unplanned. They launched aboard Boeing's Starliner on june 5, the final 12 months for what was supposed to be an eight-day challenge.
However, technical problems with the spacecraft's propulsion device pressured it to return without them, extending its stay aboard the ISS. Their situation received great attention, sparking debates about space tour safety or even political discussions.
The go-back procedure started after Team 10 arrived at the ISS on Sunday, permitting Williams, Wilmore, NASA's Nick Hague, and cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov to begin arrangements for their adventure home.
Actor madhavan took to his timeline on instagram to pen a welcome message for the astronauts. He wrote, "Welcome back to Earth, our expensive dear Sunita Williams.
