Nick Jonas Shares His Daughter Malti's Adorable Nickname For The Jonas Brothers
Nick Jonas shared a heartwarming anecdote about his three-year-old daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas's understanding of the Jonas Brothers' fame.
During an interview at the recent JonasCon, singer Nick Jonas discussed his daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, who is three years old, and her perspective on her renowned father's music career. In response to the question of whether Malti understands the "magnitude of the Jonas Brothers," Nick gave a delightful and amusing anecdote about her perspective on the band.
The Donut Brothers
Nick spilled the beans on Malti's cute nickname for the Jonas Brothers: the "Doughnut Brothers." Nick recounted a touching conversation he had with Malti when questioned about his daughter's reaction to the group's fame. He shared, "My daughter is someone aware. I think I played her the new single the other day. She looked at the cover art, and she was like, 'Oh, that's Uncle Kevin and Uncle Go.' I said, Ya, we are in a band, it's called the Jonas Brothers. She said, 'The Donut Brothers'."
Nick also said that Malti has a cute way of addressing his brother Joe Jonas, which makes her naive attitude toward the group even more endearing.
Despite the Jonas Brothers' international stardom, Malti manages to keep her dad grounded. Nick discussed the challenges of juggling fatherhood and his rock star career in an interview with People. He said, "The best part about being a dad for me and balancing things like this work stuff — and this is hard work — is that you could feel like your coolest self on top of the world, and she just doesn't care at all. She wants to play Moana and Maui with me, and that means more to me than anything else, is that time with her."
Last week, Nick posted an instagram photo of some of the ways he spends time with Malti. He posed with a flower clip and a hairbow in the snap, which he captioned, "Girl dad life."
