Actor And Martial Arts Expert Shihan Hussaini Passes Away After Battling Blood Cancer

Renowned tamil actor and karate expert Shihan Hussaini passed away in the early hours of march 25.

Shihan Hussaini, a renowned actor, karate, and archery expert breathed his last in the early hours of tuesday after a courageous battle with blood cancer. His family confirmed the news of his passing on Facebook.


The mortal remains of Hussaini will be kept at his residence, High Command, in Besant Nagar, Chennai, where family, friends, the public, and his students can come to pay their respects. Following this, his body will be transported to madurai for the final rites.


In a following post, Shihan Hussaini's family asked coaches, parents, and archers to visit his house in their uniforms as a sign of respect. "Please come in your uniform (any color is fine)," they said. Additionally, they invited archers to bring their bows and arrows so they could practice shooting.


Shihan Hussaini courageously documented his struggle on social media, keeping his fans informed throughout his fight with cancer. The government of tamil Nadu was moved by his situation and offered him Rs 5 lakh to help pay for his medical bills. 


Hussaini declared a few days before his demise that he would donate his body for medical research.


Who Was Shihan Hussaini

Indian karate practitioner and actor Shihan Hussaini was well-known in both the tamil film industry and the martial arts community.  In addition to his acting career, he became well-known for his karate skills and became a well-respected martial arts teacherDuring her acting career, Hussaini starred in many tamil films, including badri with Thalapathy Vijay, Velaikaran with Rajinikanth, and Punnagai Mannan with Kamal Haasan.


He switched to archery in his latter years, forming and holding the position of general secretary of the Archery Association of tamil Nadu, a branch of the Archery Association of India. He has trained more than 400 indian archers.
