Prithviraj Sukumaran Opens Up On L2 Empuraan's box office Conflict With salman Khan's Sikandar: 'There Is No Competition.'


The Eid weekend is a blockbuster one for indian cinema. Kickstarting it on the ticket window may be L2: Empuraan, said to be the most expensive malayalam movie ever made.


Established on a pan-India scale, the movie stars Mohanlal. But hot on its heels might be salman Khan's Sikandar, bringing the movie star back in a mass-motion avatar. L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj, will launch on march 27. The movie will share the box office with Sikandar, which allows you to hit theaters on march 30. "Salman Khan is one of the most important stars within the U.S.A., and there is no competition between the two movies. I hope it turns into a blockbuster," said Prithviraj. "I won't have any proceedings in case you watch L2: Empuraan at eleven a.m. and Sikandar at 1 p.m.," he added.

Sikandar is directed with the aid of A.R. Murugadoss, renowned for his tamil and hindi blockbusters like ghajini and Thuppakki. sajid nadiadwala has produced the task, marking salman Khan's reunion with him after their 2014 blockbuster, Kick.
