International Film festival to be held in delhi for the first time!

delhi cm Rekha Gupta presented the delhi Budget for 2025-26 in the Assembly. During this, to promote delhi as a global shooting destination, the delhi government announced to organize an international film festival for the first time under its film policy. Budget has also been allocated for this.

Presenting the budget for the financial year 2025-26 in the Assembly, cm Rekha Gupta also announced to organize an international Film festival in the capital. To promote tourism in delhi, chief minister Rekha Gupta announced in the budget that Rs 117 crore will be spent on promoting tourism and branding. There will be programs on fellowship with Rs 2 crore. At the same time, for the first time an international film festival will be organized in delhi, for which a provision of Rs 30 crore has been made.
