This film is Emraan Hashmi's 'Awarapan' which was released in theatres in the year 2007. Talking about the story of 'Awarapan', a hitman named shivam is assigned the task of keeping an eye on his boss's mistress. Later he comes to know that she has become a victim of sex trafficking. After this, he tries to reunite her with her lover.

'Awarapan' was directed by Mohit Suri and its budget was 18 crores. The film came on-screen on 29 june 2007 but could not win the hearts of the audience. After the release, 'Awarapan' could not even recover half of its budget and the film's collection was limited to 7.76 crores. Shreya Saran was seen in the lead role with emraan hashmi in this film. Apart from this, actors like Mrinalini Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, purab kohli and Rehan Khan were also in important roles.
