Tigmanshu Dhulia Podcast: In the 90s, director tigmanshu dhulia made tea for Shahrukh Khan. Recently, he revealed this in a podcast.

Actor, writer, and director tigmanshu dhulia recently shared a funny story from the early days of his career. He said in a conversation that in the year 1994, he made tea with his own hands and served it to bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. This was at the time when Tigmanshu was the assistant of famous filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.

Talking to news agency ANI, Tigmanshu recalled that time. He said that after 'Bandit Queen', Shekhar Kapoor stayed in mumbai for about one and a half to two years. During this time he started working on many films, one of which was 'Maut Se Jo Dared Nahi'. The film had stars like Shahrukh Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, and sunil Shetty, but the project could not be completed.

Tigmanshu laughingly recalled the moment when he had to make tea for Shahrukh. He said, "We were working on the script in Shekhar ji's flat. Shahrukh had come there. During this time, Shekhar Ji asked me to make tea. I made tea in the microwave. At that time I did not even know how to operate a microwave. I saw for the first time how it works." He further joked, "This was in 1994. I think I must have made very bad tea and served it to Shahrukh."

In this conversation, Tigmanshu also remembered his friend and great actor Irrfan Khan. When asked about the impact of Irrfan's death on his writing, he got emotional and said, "It has had a huge impact. When Irrfan was around, I could write complex scenes because I was sure he would be able to do them well. Now I can't do that because I feel no other actor would be able to do that. Irrfan was not just an actor for me, but a friend."

Tigmanshu is a big name in the film industry today. He made 'Haasil' with Irrfan Khan which has achieved cult status. His film 'Paan Singh Tomar' received a lot of praise in india and abroad. This film was shown at the BFI london Film festival in 2010. This film also won the National Film Award in 2012. His thriller film 'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster' was also a hit. Apart from this, the character of Ramadhir Singh in 'Gangs of Wasseypur' became a memorable role in his career.
