During this, hansal mehta also talked about why he wrote a long post on social media and said sorry to his ex-wife and other women after watching the film Thappad directed by Anubhav Sinha. The director said, "This is the power of good cinema. The film forced me to think, introspect, and say all this. Which I would probably never have said otherwise. I would never apologize to my ex-wife, but there it was. This film was very powerful and good films do that."
However, Hansal Mehta further said that he does not remember much about writing this blog. The director said, "My blog or writing anything depends on my feelings and thoughts at that time.
