According to a report by news agency PTI, janasena party sources said that Mark has been admitted to the hospital due to burn injuries in the fire incident and lung complications due to smoke. A press release issued by the party said that Mark Shankar's condition is improving steadily. Tests are being conducted to assess the impact on health due to smoke and his condition is gradually improving.
The press release said that shankar was shifted from the emergency ward to a private room on wednesday morning and doctors said that his tests will continue with medical monitoring for the next three days.

He is being treated in a hospital in Singapore'. A 10-year-old girl has died in this fire incident and 20 others including Pawan Kalyan's son have been burnt.
