Anurag Kashyap's statement is facing tremendous opposition from social media to common people. In a press conference held on Sunday, Brahmin Raksha Manch demanded the government ban the recently released film 'Phule'.
They accused the film of insulting Brahmins. They said, "After Anurag Kashyap's controversial statement, the Brahmin community is angry and will boycott his film 'Phule'. We will not sit silent and our protest will continue, we will teach anurag kashyap a lesson."
Manoj Muntashir also condemned
Writer and lyricist Manoj Muntashir was also seen condemning Anurag Kashyap over the statement. Sharing a video on Instagram, Manoj gave a stern warning to Kashyap and said, "Thousands of haters like you will die, but the tradition and pride of Brahmins will remain steadfast. If the income is low, then one should control expenses and if one has less knowledge, then one should control words. Anurag Kashyap, your income is low as well as your knowledge, so control both. You don't have enough water in your body to pollute even an inch of the heritage of Brahmins." Manoj Muntashir advised anurag kashyap, "There are many good places in the world to live, but the best thing is to stay within your limits."
When did the controversy start
A complaint has been filed against anurag kashyap at Delhi's Tilak Marg police station for making "derogatory" remarks against the Brahmin community. The controversy started on friday when Anurag Kashyap while replying to a user on Instagram, wrote a very shameful thing about Brahmins, which created a lot of uproar on social media and people criticized him.
