Vairam Dhanush (Aadi Pinnisetty) tries to grab lands of the poor for setting up an oil company. Since he is the son of the Chief Minister, he is just unstoppable. On the other side, there is Gana (Bunny) who voluntarily retires from Military. He along with Lawyer Sripathi (Srikanth) tries to settle issues. One day, Gana sees MLA Hansitha Reddy (Catherine Tresa) and successfully woos her. But she imposes a condition not to meddle in to any issues for their marriage, when he is about to make the promise, Mahalakshmi (Rakul Preet Singh) enters with a problem related to Dhanush. What happpens next in the story forms the rest.

Bunny is at his energetic best in the film. As always she showed his mettle in dances and fights, shouldered the film totally. Rakul Preet Singh gets a very little screen place but is good. Catherine Tresa plays the role of MLA and is more of a glam girl. Aadi Pinnisetty deserves a special mention here. He is superb as a baddie and should be commended for attempting such negative role. Srikanth, Jaya Prakash, Brahmi, Suman, Adarsh Balakrishnan and othere are fine in their characters.

Lets begin with director Boyapati Srinu. This is a routine beaten to death story and also forget to add good dose of entertainment to that. Only two songs of Thaman, Thelusa Thelusa and Blockbustere are good and MLA song is like okay. Remaining songs are totally disappointing. Back Ground Score is even worse. There is no difference in BGM for serious scenes and sentiment scenes. The film is of 2 hours 40 minutes and take gives us a feel that the movie is very slow. Particularly the second half is very slow. Brahmi comedy is okay at places and disappointing as a whole. Rishi Punjabi cinematography is good. First half is okay but second half is totally predictable.

Boyapati just remixed his Bhadra story once again with a bit of more hero characterization. The story and screenplay is totally disappointing. We get a feeling that Boyapati is only fit for Balakrishna and may not handle youth heroes of this generation. Its high time Tollywood gets rid of these routine stories. The entertainment which is sparingly available in the first half is totally missing in the second. The weak story did not even get the support of the music. Finally, Sarainodu is only for fans.
