Joseph ( Vijay), daughter Nivedita (Nainika) lead a happy life. Nivi school teacher Yami (Emi Jackson) tries to get close to the baby. Unexpectedly Yami quarrels with a rowdy gang who runs to Joseph’s police station. A police officer recognizes Vijay ( presen Joseph). Venkat Reddy ( Mahindran) finds that Vijay is still alive whom he tried to kill earlier. Mean while Yami too understands that Joseph is none other than Vijay. She knows the details of Mytri (Samantha). What is the revelry between Venkat Reddy and Vijay ? why did Vijay become Joseph? How Vijay lost his life? Is the remaining story.
Vijay proved his acting skills once again. Acting as police officer Vijay side, Joseph showed a father’s love another side. Fans are also satisfied with Vijay’s performance. His stylish action is centre of attraction. We know that nainika is Meena’s daughter who impressed with her cute looks. Samantha gave wonderful output as Mytri. Though her character ends in the middle, she did well. Emy Jackson gave ‘okay’ performance where she is nothing to do in the movie. Mahendran who played villain role went according to the script. As higher official in department Prabhu did well where Radhika portrayed Vijay’s mother role.
In the movie, director is a bit weak. He failed to give a proper narration to the movie. G.V.Prakash kumar’s songs are just above average but back ground scores are ultimate. George C Williams camera gave wonderful output. He got successful in showing Vijay differently. As there are no foreign locations, screen look a bit dull. Antony L Rubels editing is above average. Further editing is required for the movie. Kalai Puli S.Thanu production values are outstanding.
Director Atli Kumar failed to show the movie differently. Second half of the movie goes predictable as villain Venkat Reddy’s revenge scenes are revealed in first half. Atli kumar seems concentrated only on screen presence of Vijay than story. It is a quite regular story that police officer loses his family due to villain, takes revenge on them. There is nothing new in the story.
