Vishal (Rayudu) is one of those guys who is brought up by his grand mother. He just kicks anyone who never respects women. His grandmother Leela (Annamma) is everything for him. Things just go well for Rayudu with his grandmother and friend Soori (Maghadeerudu Kokkarako). But fate forces Rayudu to lock horns with RK Suresh (Rolex Bachi) who is a local thug. He is desperate to be a politician. And now comes a twist as RK Suresh already has troubles with Vishal's lady love Sri Divya (Bagyalakshmi). How Rayudu escape from clutches of RK Suresh and also helps his lady love forms the rest of the story.

This movie is Vishal's ground and he has just made the most of it. His slang is good and body language as a local guy was perfect. His tall and bulk figure suits perfect for action scenes. Sri Divya is also pretty and she did role of a Bold village girl. In the end Soori is show stealer. His witty one liners bring roof down. Especially the first night scene between Sri Divya and Vishal was well explained by him. Radharavi as Bhairavadu has done justice to his role. Leela who is Malayalam actress has justified her role as Annamma. In fact after Vishal, it was her who stole the show. RK Suresh's face itself proves he is the real villain. In supporting roles, the actress who essayed role of Sri Divya's mother did well. Her role is small but powerful.

Muthaiah has once again done the perfect screenplay. He clearly knows how to make a rural drama. Songs are definitely below par. They are testing our patience. But music composer Imman compensated that with background score. Action scenes are elevated to new level with Imman. Velraj has shown the dry and exotic locales of village through brown tint lens. The visuals are so realistic. KL Praveen is flawless with editing. But still the songs and some emotional scenes in flashback could have been trimmed. Stunt scenes definitely deserve a special mention. Anal arasu has sketched the action scenes in a realistic and powerful manner.

'Rayudu' is a typical rural action entertainer with all necessary ingredients. But the second half and flash back portions play spoil sport. Also under the name of twists, there are lots of melodrama. Why so much violence on a rural drama ? But still this 'Rayudu' will attract you for mass elements and the spine chilling action blocks. If you are a hardcore action fan, watch this movie without any second thoughts.
