Story:
hero raj tarun has been desperate for a hit, as his best phase ended some years back and he had been scoring one disaster after the other. Now he has teamed up with arjun reddy babe shalini pandey who also needs a solid hit, in iddari lokam okate bankrolled by Dil Raju. Here's team ap Herald's exclusive first on net iddari lokam okate review.
Mahi (Raj Tarun) is a photographer who lives a restricted life and situations do not let him enjoy his life, and enters Varsha (Shalini Pandey) who is a cracker of a personality who enjoys and cherishes life and lives to the fullest. The
movie is all about what happens when
mahi and
varsha fall for each other and whether the polar opposites get to pair with each other.
Performances:
Raj
tarun gives a restrained performance and excels with his subtle underplay as opposed to his previous outings, and
shalini pandey as the chirpy
girl is impressive and makes a cute impression left on the viewer. The rest of the cast including Nasser, Rohini, Bharat, and
raja are adequate.
Music and Technical Departments:
Mickey J Meyer's background score is soothing and pleasant on ears and all his songs are appealing.
sameer Reddy's cinematography presents interesting visuals in a colorful and attractive manner and editing by Thammi Raju makes the
movie crisp.
Analysis:
Debutant GR
krishna has come
up with an interesting plot borrowed from the Turkish
movie love likes and coincidences which released in 2011 and has given a refreshing desi take on it. With beautiful visuals by
sameer reddy and cute act by
shalini pandey and enjoyable moments involving the lead pair, he builds an interesting screenplay that engages and touches the heart. Though there are several sequences that lack believability,
iddari lokam okate is a soulful flick that presents romance in a melting manner and is a pretty decent return to form for
raj Tarun.
Verdict: raj tarun gets a respite with this heartwarming entertainer.
