Story:After several disastrous movies,
ravi teja returns on-screen teaming with
director VI
anand for a unique concept action
mass entertainer Disco Raja. With three hot
heroines and an uber-cool
ravi teja on screen, here's team
ap Herald's exclusive first on net
disco raja review.
Performances:Ravi
teja is back to his usual best where he easily scores with his body
language and oneliners. However, this time he has toiled a bit more to satisfy his fans. His character has multiple dimensions. The
movie is a science fiction
genre and has lots of twists to it. The climax is good.
nabha natesh is pretty.
tanya hope fills the space as a scientist.
tamil Villain
bobby simhaa is menacing as the evil villain.
Music and technical Departments:
All songs from S S Thaman are superb with Nuvvu Emannavo and Freakout being top picks and his background score is also top class. Cinematography by
karthik Ghattamaneni is classy and presents
disco raja in an aesthetically appealing manner. Editing by
shravan is decent.
Analysis:
Director VI
anand is back after Oka
kshanam with yet another interesting concept and this time around he has utilized
mass Maharaja
ravi Teja's
mass appeal, comic abilities and crowd-pulling factors in his screenplay perfectly. Right from the start, the
movie entertains and there are lots of twists and turns to entertain and engage the audience. The vintage
ravi teja is almost back completely with this one as his effortlessly swag filled performance as
disco raja is a royal treat for those who were missing him. Technically the
movie is rich and Thaman is again an asset for the movie. All said,
disco raja, is a much-needed comeback for
ravi Teja.
