Most of us don't know how many good singers we India have produced. There have been lots of hidden talents everywhere in India. By month of September an 8 member Hindustani vocal group performed at 8th International Samaa Festival for Religious Chanting and Sufi music.

This event took place from September 20th -27th across locales and cultural places of Egypt. The group was led by Punjabi Gurinder Harnam Singh. That was a huge success and now they will be performing once again at Qubbat el Ghori, Talaat Harb Cultural Centre and at Cairo Citadel in forth coming days.

The troop also got few more chances and we hear that apart from performing at Cairo citadel they are also called to make a performance at Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Cultures (MACIC). All the performances are free for public and they are also free of cost.

The visit is organized by MACIC, Embassy of India in Cairo, Egypt. This is happening in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. The arrival of India assumes the special significance of music.
