Indians often show their mettle when it comes to Overseas. They excel in every arena and glorify India's name. In such a case, Two Indians have won the Queen's Young Leaders award in the UK for their exceptional work and bringing a transformation in lives of others. 


The award was provided as they have made a difference in the communities. The two Indians are Kartik Sawhney and Neha Swain. And these two are just 21 and 28 years. They won the Queen's Young Leaders award 2016 among the 60 others. The will be presented by the British monarch at a gala ceremony in Buckingham Palace. 


The event will take place by June next year. Karthik is a visually impaired boy and he has been awarded for his exceptional work highlighting universal access to education for all. Sawhney is also visually impaired. 


After winning the award, Sawhney said, "I am so honoured to be part of the Queen's Young Leaders programme. I am passionate about universal access to education. I found the fact that visually impaired students can't pursue science after Grade 10 and I am the first person to enroll as India's first Grade 11 blind science student."
