A NRI from Anaheim, CA has donated a sum of Rs.1 Crore as well as adopted a village in down south. The person has refrained from all spot light. But as the things spread, even they do deserve some attention. The 30 year old Mrs. Kaushik is working as a doctor at Orange County-Anaheim Medical Center.


She has been working on 'Targeted Drug Delivery' for a while and through help of Nanoscience she has invented the new Nanomaterial, which helps in targeted drug delivery. With these targeted therapy, it is possible to treat Cancer without chemotherapy. Her reports with various molecular, cellular and animal models has shown improved therapeutic responses of cancer (melanoma, prostate, ovarian, pancreatic, breast, etc).


The work is intensified with drug metabolism. As the work is successful, the patent was sold for huge price, and she completely donated the entire sum for Flood relief fund and with the remaining, she has adopted a village too. Great gesture indeed !
