Around 50 staff nurses are waiting for the acceptance of their return to India from Saudi Arabia. They are also waiting for their work experience certificate and degree certificates to be taken utmost care. The nurses have planned to move from the problematic place Samtah in Saudi Arabia.
Samtah is the Yemen border and they have shifted to Jizan which is about a one hour travel from Samtah. T. Thanu who was doing her noble service for more than four years at abroad and they have said that they are eagerly waiting for the approval to return to their native.
They have said that they are living at the Samtah General Hospital as there was firing by unknown militants for the past three days. Around 50 nurses who were working there have planned to move to their native because of the happening. They have urged the Indian Embassy to get their experience certificate and few require their certificate from the agency which recruited them.
The nurses are ready to work in Saudi Arabia in a place which is free from such terrorism and they prefer place which is away from Saudi- Yemen border. If the authorities concerned are not ready to make arrangements, they are ready to move to their native. Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has made an assurance to the nurses that he has dealt the matter with the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. An Official from the Prime Minister’s office has confirmed them of their safe journey to their native at the earliest.
