A notification will be issued by the Telangana Government to fill 2,444 vacancy post of various government gurukul schools in the state through the Telangana State Public Service Commission and the Chief Minister has issued a directive to this effect during a meeting at his camp office which was held on Wednesday.


The positions include 758 vacancies which are available in Social welfare Gurukuls, 307 vacancies in BC Welfare post, 313 in State government gurukuls, 436 posts in Girijan gurukuls and 630 teaching positions are vacant in minority gurukuls.


Earlier these positions were filled by the respective gurukuls through entrance examinations. The teaching positions in all these gurukuls will be filled Telangana State Public Service Commission. The move is anticipated to relieve the burden of the district administrations, which were found occupied with the issue of notification, conduct of examination and then candidates’ selection will be made.


The district administration will take another six months to complete the entire process and leaves time for other academic work. Apart from this, the state government is anticipated to shortly declare the filling up of 12,000 teaching posts vacancies in the government schools. The government has made an approval to fill vacancies in 2,400 in Medical and Health department.
